I Have A Request

I would really like to get my hands on a few bottles of this Riesling:

2008 Reinhold Haart Piesporter Grafenberg Riesling Kabinett

Some critic writes: "Black currant and passion fruit accents lurk in the background, but this white is more about aromatic herbs and mineral salts. There's great cut and dimension, ending with a mouthwatering, minerally edge. Best from 2012 through 2022. "

However, there is a problem: I seriously doubt there is any of this wine in Illinois. Go ahead, Google it or whatever; you won't find any. Why? There were only 200 cases made. And what came to the US looks like it all ended up at K&L Wines in CA. There was a time I could bring up my K&L account and order away. But no longer. Now, I can not buy from K&L Wines as Aaron Schock and his IL HR co-horts decided that we Illinoisans are not good enough for this wine when they passed HB 429 a few years back. We must be content with Smoking Loon and Budweiser. I, at one time was good enough to vote for Aaron, but apparently I am not good enough to drink 2008 Reinhold Haart Piesporter Grafenberg Riesling Kabinett. Aaron and a few more of his new anti free trade wine CongrAssmen cronies pretty much want to do this to the whole US with a new bill, HR 5304.

Hey, Aaron. You are my Congressman. You are partially responsible for me not being able to get this on my own accord. How about you and your famous abs take some of that Liquor Distributorship "campaign contribution" money and jump in a plane and go get me 4 bottles? Or maybe make a phone call to one of your CA congressman buddies and have him bring you some to bring to me?

Thank you,

Your Riesling deprived and disgruntled wine constituent.
