Every so often I do this. In the past, it was public events that I was catering, but now it is for the winery for which I work. We have such a wide variety of events coming up, that there is most likely something for everyone. So, here it goes:
Friday, October 1 Music in the Garden. Our last outdoor music night featuring a favorite band at the winery, Ketchum Louden Live and food from the Ironstone Room. No cover. Food available 6-9 PM, music from 7-10 PM
Saturday, October 2 Murder Mystery Dinner 6:00 pm $40 Per Person (pp) includes the show and three course dinner. Alcohol is an additional charge. By reservation only, please call the winery at 968-7070.
Saturday, October 23 The Wine & Dine Experience 6:30 pm $50 pp includes 4 "white table cloth style" courses paired with 4 of Willett's wines and music by jazz guitarist, Joe Metzka. By reservation only, please call the wineryat 968-7070. There are only a very few tickets left due to a cancellation.
Sunday, October 24 3rd Annual Chili Cook-off. 1-4 pm Pre-register your entry by calling the winery at 968-7070. There are three categories: Traditional, non traditional (white chicken chili, vegetarian chili, etc.) and spiciest. Winner of the spiciest combines the best use of flavor and heat and contestant must be able to eat their creation; trying to ruin the judges' tastebuds with the excessive use of capsicum will not be tolerated. There will be a professional judging category and a people's choice award.
Saturday, November 14 An Evening of Wine & Sushi. 6:30 pm $30 There will be a variety of sushi to choose from to create your own platter. If you think sushi is raw fish or fish in general, this event will change your mind. Some of the food items we wrap up in rice would amaze you. The price also includes 2 glasses of wine. Friday, November 19 First Annual Nouveau Dinner. 6:30 pm $22.50 pp Apparently conditions existed to make a Nouveau style wine (like Beaujolais Nouveau) from Willett's St. Croix grapes!! Enjoy this "young wine" along with a Tapas style meal, live music and the unveiling of our 1st Nouveau label by local artist Shawn Prather. By reservation only, please call the winery.

Sunday, December 5 Christmas Open House. 1-4 pm no charge Complimentary hors d' oeuvres. See the winery all decked out for Christmas plus the annual quilt display that has drawn quilts from all over and some being over 100 years old. wine & Beverages available for purchase.
Saturday, December 11 The Wine & Dine Experience 6:30 pm $50 pp includes 4 "white table cloth style" courses paired with 4 of Willett's wines and live music. By reservation only, please call the winery at 968-7070. This will be a different menu than the October menu and will most likely showcase a new Willett's wine.
Sunday, December 12 Chef Kevin takes a long nap.
